Summer Show


The theme for the 2016 Parbold Show is Bygone Days.

The show opens at 1.00pm and closes at 5.00pmfollowing the prize giving and the children’s Tug of War.

We have music from Parbold’s own SINGING4FUN and a UKULELE BAND, TRADITIONAL FAIRGROUNG RIDES, CHILDREN’S INFLATABLE PLAYGROUND, BIRDS OF PREY EXHIBITION, PUNCH AND JUDY SHOW, COMPANY OF FOOLS, a CRAFT CORNER offering FREE ACTIVITIES for children and a host of attractions for all the family.

Over 40 stallls will be offering bargains on everything you can think of and a lot that you can’t. The arena will be hosting performances all through the afternoon – including dance exhibitions by the local schools, music and entertainment.

In the Big Marquee, you can enjoy our café and bar and the Show Marquee will be filled with crafts and exhibits from many of the local villages. Outside will be our famous Barbecue and al fresco dining area.

THE BARN DANCE

As usual, the weekend starts with our Barn Dance in the Big Marquee. There may be one or two tickets left. Phone Steve on 01257 463772.

The Toll Bar Band will keep us dancing until midnight and guests will enjoy an all-you-can-eat Steak or Vegetarian Buffet under the stars.

The show gives the residents of Parbold the opportunity to demonstrate your talents. Your gardening prowess, your culinary creativity and your children’s talents in art and photography.
